Lake Victoria shore 40km south of the capital Kampala, Entebbe provides a rewarding introduction to
Uganda for wildlife enthusiasts. Colobus and vervet monkeys swing through the jungle-like suburbia,
while a dazzling birdlife includes colorful turacos, chattering plantain-eaters.

Early in the morning, The thrilling opportunity to track rhinos on foot is the main attraction of Ziwa
Rhino Sanctuary, a non-profit organization that protects 7,000ha of dense African bush also inhabited by a

wide variety of antelope, small mammals and birds. Starting with six animals relocated from outside
Uganda in 2005–6, the white rhinos of Ziwa have now bred up to more than 20 individuals. The long-
term plan is to reintroduce rhinos into national parks where they are now locally extinct, but for
now, Ziwa is the only place in Uganda where you can see Africa's second-bulkiest land mammal in the
wild.

The main reason people visit Murchison Falls National Park is to see the spectacular namesake waterfall
formed by the Nile as it explodes through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment. But Uganda’s
largest national park is also a highly rewarding safari destination, whether you're hoping for dramatic
encounters with the Big Five (all but one of which, rhino, is present) or more interested in spotting local
specialties such as the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, the spindly-limbed patas monkey, or the dashingly
colorful redthroated bee-eater and white-crested turaco.After breakfast, you will head out for the morning
game drive through the park. The park is divided by the Nile, and although the area south of the river is
much larger, most animals live in the hilly savanna landscape of the smaller northern part. Good for you,
because in the morning you get into the off-road vehicle for around three hours to look for elephants,
buffaloes, and lions. There is also a particularly large population of Rothschild giraffes and the native
Uganda Kob antelope in the national park. You will head back to the lodge for lunch and then later
proceed for the afternoon boat cruise experience. What you haven't seen from the safari vehicle you'll
probably see when you cruise the Nile for about three hours: Hippos and Nile crocodiles. And no matter
where you are, on land or water, you will always be accompanied by the sound of around 450 species of
birds. Above all, the shoebill feels particularly comfortable near water. You will then move back to the
lodge for dinner and relaxation.

After an early breakfast, you leave Murchison Falls National Park and drive south along the Great Rift
Valley. The route takes you past Lake Albert, the second-largest lake in Uganda. When visibility is good,
you can see as far as the Blue Mountains on the other bank, which is already in the Democratic Republic
of Congo. The further south you go, the cooler and wetter the climate becomes. While on the way, you
will have a stopover for lunch and then continue with your journey. On arrival, you will be transferred to
the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

After your breakfast, you will head on with your packed lunch for your guided forest trek in search of
chimpanzees. Although chimp sightings are not guaranteed, the odds are good that you'll encounter them
today in the lush green forest. Perhaps you'll also see other types of primates, including the red-tailed
monkey. The hike will last approximately 2-3 hours while your expert guide shares the secrets of the
forest's flora and fauna. After lunch, a drive takes you past volcanic crater lakes to Queen Elizabeth
National Park. After settling in at your hillside lodge overlooking the vast savannah plains of the park,
take a late afternoon game drive, followed by dinner at the lodge.

Today's agenda is to explore Queen Elizabeth National Park. After your breakfast, you go on an extensive
game drive to look for elephants, buffalo, and various species of antelope. Be vigilant, because where
antelopes live, lions, leopards, and hyenas are not far away. You will then be transferred back to the lodge
where you will be served lunch and then proceed to the docking area for your Kazinga Channel boat
cruise experience. While on your afternoon boat cruise, you will see various animals both in water and on
land for example hippos, elephants, crocodiles, various bird species, and many more. You will then be
transferred back to the lodge for dinner and relaxation

You will have breakfast and then get transferred to Bwindi Forest National Park. You drive through a
beautiful part of the country that is also known as the “Switzerland of Africa''. The landscape changes
from savannah to swamp to rainforest, always with the backdrop of the Virunga Mountains in the
background. The path leads past villages and small towns until you finally take a break in one of these
places. In the late afternoon, you will reach your accommodation in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Can you hear the gorillas yet? Relax a bit in your accommodation and get some rest before you head out
in search of our furry relatives tomorrow.

This is a unique opportunity to see the gorillas in the wild - just a few meters away from you. After
breakfast, you will be transferred to the briefing area where you will be allocated a gorilla family and with

your packed lunch, your group will be guided through the rough terrain of the rainforest in search of one
of the park's gorilla families. The trek will last up to 5 hours or less depending on the location of the
animals. When a gorilla family is found, you'll be allowed an hour in their company to watch them eat,
preen and play. You will then trek back to the briefing area where you will be awarded certificates of
participation. You will then be transferred back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After your breakfast, you will head out for the Batwa cultural visit, the Batwa are famous for their
traditional way of living, they will perform various cultural practices for example traditional dance,
making fire and so much more. You will then be transferred to Lake Mburo National Park. Along the
way, you will have a stopover for lunch and then proceed with your journey. You shall also see
intensively farmed mountains and deep valleys create an interesting pattern in the otherwise lush green
landscapes. It's amazing how people work the steep mountain slopes and grow Irish potatoes, cabbage,
onions, and tea. On arrival, you will be transferred to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

You will have breakfast and then head out for your walking safari through the park where you will spot
various animals and birds. You will later set off for Entebbe Airport. You will have a stopover for lunch
and then proceed with your journey. Then it's time to say goodbye to the "Pearl of Africa"because your
return flight back home from Entebbe starts today.
