After your breakfast, you will depart for the Amboseli National Park to arrive in time for check in and lunch at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. You will then spend the afternoon at leisure before going for an evening game drive or a guided tour and camel ride within your conservancy till dusk when you return to your lodge.Secluded within a grove of acacia trees, Amboseli Serena Lodge looks out over the golden Savannah plains, with uninterrupted views of the mountain itself. Today, you will spend the whole day in the Amboseli National Park with both morning and evening game drives. In between, you will have an option of visiting local Masai villages that will enable you to get the chance to interact and learn about the colorful culture of this nomadic pastoralist community.Amboseli sits on the lower slopes of mighty Mount Kilimanjaro - Africa’s highest - whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. It is quite an experience to see Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in the early morning. The animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain will thrill the photography enthusiast. Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds. You will also see buffalo, black rhino, zebra, wildebeest and other plain animals

After your breakfast, you will depart Namanga, the Eastern Kenya/Tanzania border where after the cross-border formalities, you will proceed with drive to Lake Manyara with a brief stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Arusha and get to Lake Manyara National Park in time for an evening game around the lake till late in the evening when you proceed to Karutu town for check in at the Ngorongoro Farm House for dinner and overnight stay.Lake Manyara is a shallow, alkaline lake that is part of the Rift Valley wall; the lake is at the base of this dramatic western escarpment giving it a beautiful and serene setting. In addition to this peaceful setting, Lake Manyara’s main attractions are its rich birdlife, tree climbing lions and its hippos, which you can see at a closer range than many other places. Lake Manyara also hosts thousands of flamingos at certain times of the year and has diverse vegetation ranging from savannah, to marshes and acacia woodland, enabling a variety of wildlife habitats including butterflies.Set in farmlands just west of the market town of Karatu, Ngorongoro Farm House is a good base for day trips to the crater. It has 51 ochre, stone cottages scattered around the vast grounds, all very spacious and stylishly decorated with polished stone floors, en suite bathroom, big comfy cream chairs, some with an open fire and large veranda.

After breakfast, descend into the ‘8th Wonder of the World’, a unique biosphere that has remained virtually unchanged since the dawn of time. This area’s main attraction is the Ngorongoro Crater, fondly known as “Africa’s Garden of Eden”. A candidate for the new Seven Wonders of the World, this massive crater holds its own in that category. Being the world’s largest unbroken caldera, Ngorongoro is home to over 25,000 animals. It is considered one of the best game viewing spots in the world with a chance to see the big five, zebras and wildebeests. The crater holds almost every individual species of wildlife in East Africa including the extremely rare and critically endangered Black Rhino.Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before climbing back up to the lodge in time for relaxation and an optional visit to a local Masai village (at an extra cost) before dinner.

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park passing via Olduvai Gorge. Olduvai Gorge is the prehistoric site where Dr. Louis Leakey discovered the remains of Homo habilis (’Handyman’) regarded as mankind’s first step on the path of human evolution. You then proceed with the drive to arrive at the Serengeti National Park in time for check in and lunch at the Angata Kimarisha Camp. You will then spend the afternoon at leisure until around 1600 hrs when you go for an evening game drive until dusk when you return to your camp for a bush dinner.A large camp with 12 large Guest tents including a 2 tent Family unit, a lounge and a dining tent. Each guest tent has an en-suite bathroom with shower, vanity desk and flush toilets. Depending on request a King Size bed or 2 Twin beds are available. The lounge is the place to meet other travelers and share your day’s Safari stories while enjoying a complimentary cup of Tanzanian Coffee or Tea. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served in the dining tent, freshly prepared by our Chefs on a daily basis. Bush TV (local name for campfire) is lit when the weather permits.

You will have breakfast and then set off to explore the vast park rich with abundant wildlife. You also visit the northern part of the park – Seronera with an opportunity of seeing the annual wildebeest migration. Serengeti is Africa’s most famous and Tanzania’s largest park covering 14,736 sq km and is adjoining with the Masai Mara National reserve in Kenya. With a wildebeest population of about 2 million and several other hoofed species (which include zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, impala, topi, Grant's gazelle, Kongoni, Eland, Kirk’s dik dik, klipspringer, roan, Oryx, oribi, waterbuck, buffalo, giraffe and warthog), the Serengeti is sure to attract a string of prey such as lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, golden jackals and bat eared foxes. Elephants are relatively scarce and the few remaining black rhinoceros are restricted to the Moru Koppies area.

July to September sees the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle coming from the plains of the Serengeti. Driven by dry conditions in the Serengeti and led by the lightning and thunder to the north, huge herds of mammals cross the Tanzanian border and rivers to reach the Mara's grasslands.

Wake up before sunup and have some muffins and coffee, before you take a morning game drive. You'll see how still and quiet the Bush is at dawn and watch it begin to stir as the sun comes up. You'll return to camp for breakfast then depart for Nairobi with a brief stop in Narok for snacks/lunch at the Narok Coffee House. This is at an extra cost. Thereafter, you will proceed with drive to arrive Nairobi late in the afternoon just in time for a farewell dinner at the renowned Carnivore restaurant.The Carnivore is the ultimate 'Beast of a Feast' A variety of meat including ostrich, crocodile and camel, t is roasted over charcoal and carved at your table. Delicious side dishes and an exceptional array of sauces complement this fixed price feast that also includes soup, a selection of desserts and Kenyan coffee. Set in attractive tropical gardens, the service and the décor are outstanding.
